Toffee Chocolate Cake Balls

Here is another interesting cake ball recipe that you could not miss. It’s a toffee loaded cake bite that will surely give your palate an adventure. There’s toffee on the cake balls and more toffees sprinkled for garnish. They look lovely and taste yummy. Both kids and adults alike would not be able to resist a bite.

Prep Time: 50 mins

Ingredients:

• 1 box Devil’s food cake mix, prepared as directed and then, cooled and crumbled

• ¼ cup butter

• 6oz cream cheese, softened

• 2 ½ cups powdered sugar

• 1 tsp vanilla

• ½ cup toffee bits

• 1 1/2 lbs. dipping chocolate, melted

Instructions:

1. In a mixer, stir together cream cheese and butter, plus vanilla extract and sugar.

2. Add the cake crumbles and toffee bits (reserving some for garnish0 and mix until well blended.

3. Form the mixture into 1-inch cake balls and place in a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

4. Freeze for about an hour or until firm.

5. Finally, dip the cake balls onto melted chocolate, shaking off excess, and putting them back onto the cookie sheet to allow the coating to set.

6. Sprinkle with reserved toffee bits before serving.
